1. How long have you and your family been producing eggs in Colorado? How many generations?
We have been producing eggs in Colorado for 20 years. I am the first generation in my family to work in this industry.
In addition to regular, generic eggs, most stores offer a variety of specialty eggs, including nutrient-enhanced, pasteurized, organic and vegetarian eggs. As a consumer choice, a small number of producers also sell eggs from hens raised cage-free or free-range.
From time to time, the Colorado Egg Producers sends out information for educators and the general public. When you register you can select which group to join. You can remove your name from the address list at any time.
